This charming Victorian home in Caversham was transformed with a contemporary rear extension, creating a bright and spacious open-plan kitchen and living area designed for modern family life.

The project involved installing a substantial structural steel beam to create a large uninterrupted space, together with elegant aluminium sliding doors that flood the home with natural light and seamlessly connect the interior with the garden. A bespoke kitchen from Howdens Ascot formed the centrepiece of the new space, while the existing floor levels were carefully reconfigured, fully insulated and fitted with new plumbing services.

The extension was completed with large-format porcelain floor tiles, delivering a timeless, high-quality finish that perfectly complements the character of the original Victorian property
